Halloween is getting closer and closer!!!

Are you throwing a party at home? If so, would you like to surprise your guests with some easy, fast and delicious snacks? I bet you would.

There are loads of things you can prepare. Here, I’ll show you only three of them, but please share if find or come up with a different one.

  1. MANDARIN JACK-O-LANTERNDSC_0434

I’m sure you have some mandarins at hand in your house.  So, take a black marker and draw the eyes, the nose and the mouth of a Jack-o-lantern. Feeling more inspired? Go one step further and draw zombies, Frankensteins or simply write “Happy Halloween”, “Trick or treat” or “Boo!!!”.

If you have little kids around, I’m sure they will enjoy making safe and no-mess Jack-o-lanterns.

  1. BANANA GHOSTS AND MANDARIN JACK-O-LANTERNS (DIFFERERNT FROM THE PREVIOUS ONES)

bananas and mandarines for halloweenMandarins and bananas can also turn into a healthy a delicious snack easily customed for your Halloween party. Peel them both, cut the bananas.

Now, convert the bananas into ghosts by making their eyes with, for example, melted chocolate. Yummy!!!

As for the mandarins, you will need a piece of leek or a green gummy to make the green part of the pumpkin.

  1. SWEET DRACULA TEETH

dracula teeth finalTo make this spooky snack you need biscuits (I like the Chips ahoy ones), mini marshmallows (or the big ones, yet you will have to cut them into smaller pieces), royal icing coloured red (or jam) and some toothpicks.

Cut the biscuit into two halves, spread some red icing or jam on both pieces, next place the mini marshmallows and put the second half of the biscuit on top. As for the fangs, you can use the toothpicks, but be careful not to eat them!!!! An alternative could be the pine nuts or almonds cut thin.

Hope you got inspired by my post!!!!
