Hello! This week we have been talking about food in my PET groups and how to prepare some dishes, so today I would like to show you an example of a recipe in English. Since it was Pancake Day on Tuesday, as you may know, here it is the perfect pancake recipe!

1 ½ cups of all-purpose flour
3 ½ teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon white sugar
1 ¼ cups milk
1 egg
3 tablespoons butter, melted

In a large bowl, put together the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Make a well in the centre and pour in the milk, egg and melted butter. Mix until it is smooth.
Heat a lightly oiled frying pan over medium high heat. Pour or scoop the mix, using approximately ¼ cup for each pancake. Brown on both sides and serve hot.
And that’s it!

If you like it, you can also add cinnamon or vanilla to your pancakes!

Task for my PET group: write your own recipe (anything you want) and bring it to class next day! We’ll read them and share our recipes with each other!
